Mac lets out Microsoft Office 2008
Microsoft Company lets out three versions of Office 2008 for Mac in January. The software package is focused on creative a expert who works under creation of digital multimedia files.
Office 2008 Mac Home and Student Edition, will include three licensed programs: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Entourage (e-mail-client/calendar/directory) which will cost $150.
Version for professionals, who use Apple, will cost $400 and it is named Office 2008 for Mac. Includes the same programs as Home Edition and Student Edition, but also has an opportunity to connect to Windows Exchange Server. Third version cost $500 - Special Media Edition which adds additional functions in standard version Office 2008, in particular, Expression Media - the program for the digital photo, video and other files organization. Microsoft also sells Expression Media separately, for $299.
All three versions work on the basis of Intel-and older PowerPC-versions of Mас-computers. For those who works with Apple, and cannot wait until Office will let out, Microsoft offers the program of updating. For the price of cd delivery (in USA it approximately $10) - the company will send a updating package Office 2008 to users who will get Standard Edition or Student and Teacher Edition package Office 2004 for Mac till March, 14th, 2008.
It is not known yet how this product will be delivered to the Russian market.
