New LG Stand-Alone Hospitality LCD’s
This month will see the European launch of LH2000 and LH3000, the two new ranges of LCD’s specifically developed with stand-alone hospitality applications in mind.
Both models are building on the same distinctive look and features that gave their predecessors a well-deserved market share in hotels and similar establishments across Europe. For a start, the simple and intuitive set-up menu plus the Picture Wizard make sure that once unpacked, the LCD is ready for use in no time. Hoteliers will especially appreciate the possibility to clone settings by either special Link Loader or simply by regular USB stick. In addition, all LH2000/3000 models come with Hotel Mode allowing the hotelier to control matters like e.g. sound volume, channels and image settings. Of course both models are equipped with DVB-T/C tuners so that in a hassle-free way digital signals can be received from resp. terrestrial radiotowers and cable TV systems.
Adding to the already impressive features of LH2000, the LH3000 series boasts the additional feature of 100% Full HD resolution plus a higher dynamic contrast ratio. This will ensure a truly crispy clear and exciting viewing experience bringing to life any content. At the same time, LH3000 has an additional 3rd HDMI connection so that any connectivity needs can be met without limitation. Both models do share a wide range of energy-saving modes. First there’s an intelligent sensor that adjusts the back light and picture color settings to a changing ambient lighting situation, keeping a constant viewing experience but saving energy at the same time. A real money saver is the Smart Energy Mode that allows energy savings of up to 70% in maximum mode, if necessary in ‘Auto Mode’ the back light can be set in relation to the ambient light.
Both series come in basic screen sizes 42”, 37” and 32” where as LH3000 is also available in 47” for use in e.g. suites and lobbies. LH2000, in turn, is also available in smaller screen sizes 26”, 22” and 19” to suit the needs of smaller rooms. A swivel stand is included with all models so that the LCD can be fixed either on a wall or rather on a table or cabinet. Adding to the distinctive look for both series is also the ‘intelligent eye’ indicating stand-by (red) or in use (blue). Finally, ‘hidden’ speakers’ are located in several strategic spots and by using vibrations they use the complete front of the LCD to reproduce a complete listening experience. Tuned by Mr. Mark Levinson, these speakers create a bigger so-called ‘sweet spot’ in front of the LCD so that the full sound can be enjoyed not only by those in front, but also by the ones to the right and left.
