Xerox is proud to announce the addition of the Phaser 6140 to our line-up of color printers. We designed the Phaser 6140 as a simple color printer that supports single users and small work teams. This printer delivers consistently precise color output with bright, true colors. It prints quickly, comes network-ready, and is easy on the environment.

Entry Level Network Color

For offices or workgroups up to 7 users. With a monthly duty cycle up to 40,000 pages/month, the Phaser 6140 easily handles all of your everyday printing needs including letters, presentations, brochures, signage, and any print job where color is desired.

Reliable Performance

Print speeds up to 19 pages/min color and 21 pages/min black-and-white, a 400 MHz processor, a first-page-out time as fast as 13 seconds color and 12 seconds black, and standard paper capacity of 225 sheets. Print on a variety of media including envelopes, labels, postcards, and transparencies from 3"x5" to 8.5"x14" and weights up to 80 lb. cover.

Advanced Print Features

Save paper and reduce costs with draft mode, proof print, skip blank pages mode, and N-up printing (allows you to print multiple pages on one sheet). Add at least 512 MB RAM and enable advanced features including Secure Print (release print job with password), Proof Print, and Personal Print (print your stored jobs from the printer’s front panel).

Environmentally Friendly Laser

Cleverly designed packaging for both the printer and its consumables means you’ll create up to 80% less waste than with comparable laser printers. You can also reduce energy consumption with intelligent sleep mode, which enables you to choose when the printer automatically switches to Power Save mode. The Xerox Green World Alliance recycling program lets you ship your used print cartridges to Xerox for free, and we’ll handle recycling. The Phaser 6140 is ENERGY STAR® qualified.
