BenQ Launches Its First Digital Camcorder, BenQ M1
BenQ has officially announced the launch of its first digital video camera, BenQ M1.
The BenQ M1 camera is equipped with 1/2.3-inch CMOS sensor with 10MP and a lens with a 5x optical zoom (35-175 mm focal length). The BenQ M1 camcorder is able to record video with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels at 30 frames per second, and make pictures with a resolution of 1600×1200 to 3264×1840 pixels.
New BenQ M1 video camera has image stabilization system and a special pre-recording function allows the device to remember the three-second snippet obtained prior to clicking on the button start shooting.
The BenQ M1 camera is equipped with 3-inch swivel screen, a slot for SD/SDHC card with capacity up to 32GB, 10x digital zoom, HDMI, USB 2.0 port and video output systems (NTSC/PAL). Its shutter speed is 1/2000-1 second and the maximum sensitivity is ISO 400.
Dimensions of BenQ M1 camcorder are 113×44x64 mm and weight is 210g (without battery and SD card). Its battery is a lithium-ion battery with 1,450 mAh of capacity. There is not word about the estimated cost of the BenQ M1 camcorder and the timing of its appearance in the stores.
