SAMSUNG Electronics Co., Ltd., the number one worldwide brand of professional Large Format LCD display products, has introduced its newest Large Format Display (LFD) series at the 2010 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas. The SAMSUNG SyncMaster LED LFD 460EX, 460EXn, 550EX, and 550EXn are the first LFD displays to incorporate LED Back Light Unit (BLU) technology providing up to 40% percent savings on energy consumption than the conventional LFD in a lighter, thinner, and easier to install set-up.

Capitalising on SAMSUNG’s leadership in visual display, these models benefit from a 120Hz panel refresh rate, allowing for faster and smoother scrolling text and digital signage content. The Full HD 1080p native resolution provides a crisp moving, scrolling or stationary image with a 5000:1 contrast ratio.
