Lenovo announced ThinkStation series of high-performance workstations designed for engineering analysis, mineral deposits search, and other spheres of human activity.
ThinkStation S10 offers state-of-the-art Core 2 processors including quad-core Core 2 Extreme QX9650 (3GHz, 12 MB Cache L2, 1333MHz FSB, 45-nanometre manufacturing process).
The dual processor ThinkStation D10 offers the quad-core Intel Xeon processor 5400 series (3.2GHz, 2x6MB Cache L2, 1333MHz FSB, 45-nanometre manufacturing process).
Both S10 and D10 come packed with graphics solutions from NVIDIA and two Gigabit Ethernet cards. In January 2008 first Lenovo ThinkStation S10/D10 workstations will be shipped to customers. The basic configuration will cost $1,200 and $1,740 respectively.
