The rig features an Intel Atom N550 with dual-cores running at 1.5GHz with a 512KB L2 cache. The CPU supports hyperthreading providing four cores as far as the OS is concerned.
There still aren’t that many netbooks running the newer dual-core Atom and while its slightly slower than the 1.6GHz speed the single core Atom’s operate at, I think most folks will find the performance to be ok. The little machine has a 10.1-inch screen, WiFi, Bluetooth, and up to 250GB of storage. Pricing and availability are unknown.
