The new office, called MICS-Povolzhie, will cover Nizhny Novgorod itself as well as major cities in the nearby Volga region, to include Cheboksary, Kazan, Samara, Saratov and others. The office will deal with a major partner network in the region, to include local retail chains, small and medium resellers, as well as system integrators.

To cover such a vast territory and partner network, MICS-Povolzhie will offer the range of products from its warehouse similar to those available from the warehouse of its mother company in Moscow supported by strong logistics, typical for MICS. The range goods on offer will include computer hardware and consumer electronics from such major brands as Acer, BenQ, Dell, Edimax, Kensington, Lenovo, LG Electronics, Microsoft, Neovo, Netgear, Plustek, Samsung, Toshiba, Tripp-Lite, and Xerox.

Apart from sales, MICS-Povolzhie will act as a local logistics center providing for door-to-door delivery service, as well as technical support and training center for its partners. The office will engage in all marketing programs and promos its head office and vendor-partners will originate. Current stuff is 8 people, including 3 sales managers.

According to Denis Samsonov, director general of MICS-Povolzhie, the office aims to increase sales in the region and expand its client base from current 50-60 partners to some 100-150 in the nearest future. Staff of the office will increase accordingly. The office will deal with all groups of IT-customers in the region providing for flexible commercial terms backed by the head office and vendors support.

The warehouse of the local distributor is currently almost full and ready to satisfy needs of any customer. The range of products on offer will be further adjusted to local demand.
