Samsung Announces the Most Affordable 3D Plasma TV in Russia
Samsung Electronics have announced the start of sales of the new 3D 50” plasma TV PS50C490 in the Russian market. According to the manufacturer, to date PS50C490 is the most affordable 3D-TV plasma model.
Quality as a two-dimensional and 3D-images in HD format has been achieved through the use of Clear Image Panel, 600Hz Subfield Motion and DNLe technologies. DNIe processor supports 3D-signal in Full HD-resolution, while the 600Hz Subfield Motion technology helps to avoid distortions in displaying dynamic scenes. It creates up to 12 subfields for each frame making images and text even sharper.
Plasma panel production technology by Samsung involves the use of ultrathin film filter instead of glass, which is common for other manufacturers. The Clear Image Panel technology eliminates double reflection and provides excellent picture clarity and color for almost any viewing angle. The Clear Image Panel technology also helps to reduce the overall thickness of the shell.
Another 3D TV technology used in PS50C490, the Cinema Smooth with Movie Mode, provides for bright and clear picture, close to original format, as in the cinema theater.
Designed for players that use the HDMI connection, the BD Wise technology automatically determines the optimal solution for playing video and best tunes the image on the TV screen. The ConnectShare Movie (USB 2.0) technology allows user to view various multimedia content directly from a flash drive, external hard drive, digital camera or any other medium that supports USB connection. The PS50C490 has three HDMI inputs, which provide simple and convenient connection of various compatible audio and video devices. Standard HDMI provides an opportunity to import any content without compressing the data from digital camcorders and multimedia computers for playback on widescreen TV.
