Samsung Electronics company presented report about the financial results for the third quarter 2010.
Mobile division became most profitable in the structure of Korean corporation. Sales of mobile devices increased by 12% to 71.4 millions (previous year 60.8 millions), which brought 9,9 billion dollars. Operating profit reached one billion dollars, and the portion of company on the mobile market grew to 22% (according to IDC data - 21%).
Mobile devices from Samsung were based in the average price segment.
Is was separately noted the success of smart phone galaxy S and Wave. Sales already reached 7 and 2 million copies.
