Russian IT and consumer electronics distributor MICS has boosted its PC portfolio, adding a range of products from Gigabyte to its line-up. MICS will push Gigabyte notebooks and netbooks. The first delivery from the Taiwanese maker has come to Russia and is currently available from the MICS warehouse in Moscow.
Notebook and netbook sales currently account for approximately 60% of MICS portfolio. The distributor already works with Lenovo, Samsung, Toshiba, Dell and Acer in this product category. MICS will push Gigabyte’s Q series models aimed at small business and home office users. Notebooks will come with a two year guarantee and netbooks with one year. Gigabyte is also offering post-sales service support for its products sold in the Russian market.
In addition to notebooks and netbooks, MICS also sells monitors, LCD TVs, networking equipment, consumables and accessories. Other vendors in MICS’ portfolio include BenQ, Kensington, LG, Microsoft, Neovo, Netgear, Plustek, Rexel, Samsung and Xerox.
