Xerox has announced the DocuMate 3220, a color flatbed scanner that can scan, e-mail, and copy documents at the touch of a button. According to the company, it can scan at 23 pages per minute or 46 images per minute in duplex mode. The 3220 handles variable paper sizes and delicate originals on the glass or volumes of pages through an automatic document feeder (ADF) that holds up to 50 pages.
The DocuMate 3220 has a small footprint and is intended for workers in small or home offices or even larger office workgroups. It provides single-button control at the front panel for scanning to any of nine preset and up to 99 customizable one-touch scan profiles.
The Xerox DocuMate 3220 includes Visioneer OneTouch with Kofax VRS technology, TWAIN and WIA drivers, Nuance PaperPort, Nuance OmniPage Pro for Windows and ExactScan Lite and Newsoft PageManager for Mac OS.
The Xerox DocuMate 3220 has a list price of $349.99 and is available immediately through major reseller and online channel partners.
