Apparently we're still a while away from having gadgets that transform into robots, which is disappointing, but at least Toshiba has come up with a color-shifting laptop that will go great with one song in your guilty pleasure music playlist - Karma Chameleon by Culture Club.
Seen below is the Dynabook Qosmio T750 15.6-inch laptop which features a specially-coated display lid that looks to be of an ocean color when viewed from a certain angle, while from other points of view it will be turquoise and purple. This effect is made possible through multiple nano-technology layers applied on top of another.
Aside from the 'color-changing' display lid (which comes with a fingerprint proof layer), the T750 features a 1366 x 768 LED-backlit display, a 2.66GHz Core i5-480M processor (part of the Calpella mobile platform), 4GB of RAM, a 750GB hard drive, Gigabit Ethernet, 802.11n WiFi, Harman Kardon speakers, and USB 2.0 ports, plus a HDMI output.
Unfortunately for most people craving to use Toshiba's laptop at parties to trick their friends, the Qosmio T750 has only been announced for the Japanese market.
