Acer on April 16 announced the completion of a new building to house its EMEA operational headquarters located in the Canton of Ticino, Switzerland, with the building near Lugano Airport and major highways.
The modern and futuristic building, designed by the Tarchini Group Studio in conjunction with an international team of architects and consultants, incorporates many high-tech and environmentally friendly solutions such as ecofriendly building materials and energy-saving solutions, Acer noted.
The total floor area of 7,500 square meters (80,729 square feet) consists of office space, conference rooms and technical laboratories and will accommodate up to 250 employees, Acer indicated. The building has space reserved for expansion in the future.
