MICS branch in the Volga Federal District – MICS-Povolzhie - celebrated its third anniversary. MICS decided to mark this event together with partners in the region, inviting them to a Conference in a rustic Ranch 636, which is located in area of Nizhniy Novgorod in the scenic pine forest.
It is worth to mention that the Nizhny Novgorod branch has demonstrated high dynamics and successful performance in three consecutive years, said Denis Samsonov, the head of of MICS-Povolzhie. According to statistics of MICS, over the second and third years of operations the branch has shown a steady increase of 40-50% compared to the same periods in previous years. In 2013, the growth rate declined slightly, but still continued to show positive dynamics, despite the overall drop in the industry. The share of the branch in total turnover of MICS in the Volga region increased over the 3 quarter of 2013 to 40%. The number of active dealers and partners in the region exceeded 150 and still growing. The geography of supplies within the region is expanding constantly, while the speed of delivery to partners is increasing. In general terms, thanks to opening of the branch in 2010, the Volga region occupies the second place in the overall turnover of MICS after the Moscow region.
The meeting, which gathered around some 40 regional partners, was attended by Head Office managers, responsible for the regional development strategy of the company, and vendor companies - Lenovo, Microsoft, Neovo, and Samsung, presenting their product range, new products for the season of Christmas sales, as well as marketing programs, service and technical support to partners in the region.
The format of the meeting involved open discussions at round tables, during which the partners could get answers to all their questions directly from a Distributor and vendors.
Since the event was held, by coincidence, on the very eve of the Halloween, this could not affect the informal part of the meeting, which, as always happens with MICS, was friendly, and fun.
MICS pays a lot of attention to work with partners and is trying to use every opportunity to see them in the “informal business" environment and travels. The past year was full of such events – MICS and partners met on the ski slopes of South Ural Mountains, and on the sandy shores of the warm Azov Sea; travelled to China, Japan, and Spain; and the geography of the Summer Marathon of MICS and Lenovo road-shows swept the South, Volga, Urals, Central, and Siberian Federal District of Russia.
