Six exhibitions are expected to come up in May and June, promoting the latest IT innovations including PC, smartphone, smart wearable device, robot and Internet of Things (IoT) applications
On May 11, International CES Asia 2016 will be hosted in Shanghai, China. The show has attracted 350 IT players to showcase their latest products and are expected to have over 30,000 visitors. The show will focus on 3D printing, environmental equipment, automobile electronics, gaming devices, robot, wearable and mobile peripherals.
During the same time, Japan IT Week Spring 2016 will be hosted in Tokyo, Japan and the show will have over 1,500 exhibitors and is expected to attract 83,000 visitors. Qualcomm and Intel are also expected to participate in the exhibition. In addition to smartphones, the exhibitors are also expected to showcase cloud computing, datacenter, IoT software and hardware products. Gigabyte Technology and ASRock will also showcase their latest motherboard products.
Computex 2016 will run from May 31-June 4 in Taipei, Taiwan. The show in 2016 will focus on innovations and startups. Computex will have 1,600 exhibitors, occupying over 5,000 booths and will attract over 130,000 visitors.
Mobile World Congress (MWC) Shanghai 2016 will start on June 29 in Shanghai, China, focusing on handsets, mobile equipment, network infrastructure equipment, software and services. Major exhibitors include Intel, Hewlett-Packard (HP), Twitter, MediaTek, LG Electronics, Korea Telecom and China-based LeTV, Lenovo and Tencent. The show will also have a section specifically for Taiwan.
Google will also host its Google I/O from May 18-20 and is expected to unveil more information about its Android N and virtual reality applications. Apple will also host its WWDC from June 13-17 in San Francisco, the US.
