Samsung ultra-compact PC of the second generation
Samsung Electronics has presented the modified and advanced computer Samsung Q1Ultra – the following generation of ultracompact personal computers (UMPC) Q1, issued for the first time in 2006.
Samsung has entered the union with Intel and Microsoft to create UMPC, supplied by the advanced functionality and intended for mobile professionals and the businessmen staying on the journey almost every time. Q1Ultra weighs 690 г and can go in on a palm.
Samsung Q1Ultra, working under control of OS Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium, is equipped by 7-inch LCD-display Super Bright of sanction WSVGA (1024x600 at brightness 300) so it can be used on the journey or to connect to any monitor. Besides it is supplied by the touch screen and the integrated QWERTY-keyboard.
Owing to energy consumption lowered on 30 % Q1Ultra provides longer independent work from one charging of the storage battery - till 3,5 hours from standard 4-element and more than 6 hours from the 6-element battery of the raised capacity. Besides new communication technologies, including 10/100 Ethernet, WLAN 802.11b/g, HSDPA/WiBRO and Bluetooth 2.0 are realized in Q1Ultra.
Double-sided Q1Ultra camera enables to make pictures and to keep in contact with colleagues, friends and family by means of videoconferences or MMS-messages. And the system of recognition of finger-prints will protect the confidential information from anothers eyes and will raise the convenience of login.
