Toshiba changes Intel on AMD

Moscow representation Toshiba Europe GmbH has declared about plans of company Toshiba about using of processors AMD in the some Satellite notebooks, which will be on sale alongside with the models created on the basis of processors Intel. Company plans to satisfy needs of the big circle of users of mobile computers and to increase a sales volume due to scope of new sectors of the market expanding it’s modeling row with notebooks, with processors AMD. ‘’ Expansion of our cooperation with suppliers turns out an advantage for our clients. Experts of company Toshiba emphasize, that the contract with AMD will not affect in any way on their cooperation with company Intel. The Moscow representation of company Toshiba believes, that this decision will also promote to more active promotion of the newest processor technologies by all manufacturers. Toshiba now takes a strong position in the market owing to notebooks on processors Intel and has an excellent opportunity for the further development due to expansion of modeling row with notebooks, equipped processors AMD. According to analytical company GFK, now 15-20 % of notebooks sold in the world built exactly on basis of AMD processors.
