Toshiba has extended its Camileo pocket camcorder range with two HD models, each so compact and light that you’ll think it’s started flogging non-functioning demo models.
The S10 and P10 each capture video at 1080p and have a 5Mp image sensor for still snaps, with the main differences being that the S10 is about the size and shape of a deck of cards, while P10’s slightly larger and built for pistol-grip fans.
Both models have a 4x digital zoom and 2.5in LCD screen that can be tilted. Videos are recorded in H.264 format and can be uploaded onto YouTube – a feature that Casio’s already implemented into some of its compact cameras.
Video stabilisation should help take the wobbles out of your cini-masterpieces and you can also apply a Night Mode setting when shooting in low light. Each camcorder supports up to 32GB through expandable storage.
Toshiba said the S10 and P10 will be available in May, priced at £130 ($184/€141) and £100 ($141/€109) respectively.
