Samsung Goes Green with a New Eco-Friendly TV Line-up
Samsung redefines the green technologies with its new HD television line-up equipped with the award winning, energy-saving, LED technology that, with the top award from ICES 2009 , sets a new energy-efficient standard of LCD televisions in the year 2009.
The electronics conglomerate is launching a whole new LED TV line-up, the 6000, 7000 and 8000 series from 40" to 55" - all with the uniquely super-thin, vibrant colour output, and a new declaration on being eco-friendly of up to 40% reduction of energy consumption when compared to other LCD televisions on the market. By cutting power consumption to significantly new lows, Samsung LCD TV is even more stringent than the Energy Star guidelines.
Also the new LCD televisions are also totally mercury-free, from the manufacturing process all the way to the end-users home, adding another degree of environmental friendliness and safety. Also, the stands of the new Samsung TVs are made from recycled materials - another of Samsungs approach towards saving the environment. And by choosing the right product, you can also save the environment, even that means just sitting at home and watch television.
Samsung Crystal Design Display Samsung Eco-Fit
After last years sensation over its glittering red design inspired by Murano crystal in its monitors and LCD televisions, Samsung raises the bar again this year in the display technology with the luxurious tones of charcoal gray Samsung Eco Fit 30-mm super slim display in 3 series of P2070, P2270 and P2370. All display models comes with the ultra fast 2ms video response time on 16:9 aspect ratio wide screen and a contrast ratio at 50,000:1 for crystal clear, high-definition images.
The new ToC TM monitors consume half the normal wattage of other monitors by using two, instead of normally 4, lamps resulting in significantly lower power consumption. The manufacturing also eliminates harmful paints and sprays on the similar material used for the entire monitor piece to enhance both the health of the users and the recyclability of the entire product.
