Netgear is set to launch a new streaming media player called the EVA9150 Digital Entertainer Elite.

The box streams media directly from the Internet such as YouTube™, Internet radio, Flickr™ photos, RSS, and podcasts.

It includes a 500 GB hard drive for extra storage of movies, photos, and music, as well as HDMI port, HD upconversion up to 1080p, Wireless-N, two USB ports for iPod and USB drives.

The EVA 9150 Digital Entertainer Elite also supports 1080p high-definition video and users can even swap out the hard drive and add another one. The product supports multiple content platforms.



The EVA9150 will ship in the first quarter of 2009.
