«Samsung Open 2007» is Opened
On 4 August 2007 MICS Company took part in the "Samsung Open 2007" Annual Tennis Cup. The competition was held in "MultiSport", entertainment and sports club in Luzhniki.
More than 20 players from Moscow-based and regional companies walked onto a court on that day. Among them were representatives of "Beeline", "Euroset", "Svyaznoy", and others.
Sales Manager Maxim Yakunin played on part of MICS Company. The competitors were split into two divisions: professional players and beginners. Playing as a beginner, Maxim showed high skills and prompt reaction.
The competition was held on the indoor courts because of rain. 40 pairs played the doubles.
The entertainment program lasted the whole day.
Besides watching a catching tennis game, the business audience had a chance to talk on professional and other matters making new business contacts.
The Samsung Open winners were rewarded the Cup. All the other players were granted prizes: tennis apparel, racket bags. A barbecue party was thrown to complete the evening.All the contestants were pleased with the results of the game since for many of them the most important thing was not to win but to take part!
