MICS Distribution Company held its 10-th Partner Conference in Sicilia, an island province of Italy with Mt Etna, Europe’s largest and most active volcano.
The Conference in the city of Catania gathered together representatives of more than 40 partner companies, which have shown their best turnover results in the past months of 2009. The partner meeting was co-sponsored by three vendors - Lenovo (the full range of Think and Idea product lines), Toshiba (portable PCs and devices) and Xerox (hardcopy products).
Opening the formal part of the Conference Vladimir Lisogorsky, MICS director general, stressed that MICS and its partners have managed to successfully withstand challenges of difficult times and the common meeting in Italy was the best proof of that.
Mikhail Yaroshevsky, head of MICS sales department, has summarized company development over the past year, presented new lines of products in the company portfolio, and described measures MICS undertakes to overcome the crisis.
Experts from Vendor companies presented new lines of products to the Conference attendees and shared their views regarding the prospects and further development of the Russian IT-market as well as continued interaction with the channel.
The program of the five-day long Conference included numerous one-to-one meetings as well as sea trips to volcano islands in the Mediterranean Sea, testing local brand vines in vineries in vicinity of Mount Etna volcano, sightseeing across the island and in Palermo, the capital of Sicilia.
