MICS adds TRENDnet networking solutions

MICS, a major distributor of IT and consumer electronics in Russia, has signed up with TRENDnet, a global provider of award winning networking solutions to small and medium size business and home users, to distribute vendor’s products in the Russian market.

MICS networking solutions portfolio will add up with TRENDnet’s diverse line of products to include wireless, fiber, switch, gigabit, Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP), Keyboard/Video/Mouse (KVM), internet camera, print server, Powerline, Bluetooth, storage server, Power over Ethernet (PoE), and multimedia accessories.

MICS will also bring to channel networking solutions under a new UPVEL brand specially designed for the Russian market to match tech requirements of local internet providers and telecom companies. The UPVEL range of products will include 3G/4G Wi-Fi routers, Wi-Fi Ethernet and ADSL routers, Wi-Fi adaptors, switches, IP-cameras, KVM, PowerLine, Power over Ethernet (PoE), and tools.

“TRENDnet have come to Russia several years ago and we know that the brand is recognized for high quality, reliable performance and professional support,” said Oleg Kolesov, MICS commercial director.  “We deem that vendor’s products will be in high demand among end-users. Vast regional market in Russia is a good market for TRENDnet products, while MICS has a strong presence there.”

According to Ranjit Sarkar, head of TRENDnet RepOffice in Russia & CIS, partnership with MICS will help vendor to strengthen their presence in regional markets, as well as to reach large federal networks of IT and consumer electronics in Russia.
