MICS Distribution Company has signed an agreement with PORT Designs, one of the leading designers and developers of transportation and protection solutions for laptop computers. The supply is expected to begin in June.
Its expertise in design and its knowledge of the mobility market have made PORT Designs one of the main players in the mobile business sector. Its headquarter and designer office is situated in France. For 15 years PORT has created and developed transportation and protection solutions for laptop computers.
The product line comprises more than 25 products, including bags, portfolios, bags for documents, backpacks. Some items are custom-made.
The main danger for mobile equipment is damage from external shocks and being dropped. To address these issues, PORT has developed the MATT-SYSTEM®, a patented protection system comprised of several layers of varying density absorption foam, which, through absorption, reduce the impact of external shock waves to the computer.
The most sensitive part of a laptop computer is the screen. In 2003 PORT developed a new protection feature designed to protect the screen. The SCREEN PROTECTOR® is made of high density foam sponge band.The firm offers to its consumers 12 months insurance for broken screen.
