Xerox Corp. has launched the WorkCentre 7346 A3 multifunction printer for MLB.
The companys latest color MFP extends the existing lineup and features print speeds of up to 40 pages per minute (ppm) in color and 45 ppm in black-and-white. The first page layout with high quality printing is 4.8 seconds (black-and-white) and 6.8 seconds (color). As a result, the WorkCentre 7346 and print server combination are suited for offices that need to print a variety of files, such as marketing and publishing groups.
The model melds color and monochrome printing, scanning and faxing. It features 1.5 GB of memory and a 40 GB hard drive to help to comply with a great amount of work.
“Offices of any size thrive on speed. And at the same time, they demand quality, affordable technology. Its a tall order that the WorkCentre 7346 delivers. Nowadays the offices need not only printing devices but a device capable of advanced working with scanned documents, high quality color and monochrome printing." – says Dmitry Volosenkov, product ans solutions manager.
To ease the operation with the scanned documents the MFD incorporates a function of search and copy of the text extract in need. It is acquired by creating a new PDF- file that consists of two layers – a scanned image and a recognized text. Other advantages of the Xerox WorkCentre 7346 include printing of previously stored in the memory documents, using LED-display. The XML Paper Specification (XPS), developed by Microsoft, provides compatibility with Windows Vista.
