The Secure Managed Client utilizes diskless ThinkCentre clients. The solution can also be used with a ThinkCentre M57p USSF and are supported by the ThinkCentre M58. The Secure Managed Client supports standard, versions of Microsoft Windows Vista and XP. In addition, SMC supports standard PC options designed to be used with the Lenovo ThinkCentre PC’s.

The SMC solution was jointly developed by Lenovo, Intel, LANDesk, American Megatrends Inc. и Serden.
