Before the appointment Mr. So has been the head of Samsung Electronics HQ in the Middle East and Africa.

Mr. So started his carrier in Samsung Electronics in 1983, taking high positions in a number of structural units of the company in different countries of the world. Mr. So is a key expert in positioning the Samsung brand in the international markets.

Mr. So is well acquainted with Russian and the CIS markets peculiarities. Не used to work in Moscow as a head of information technology department, in Ukraine as the president of Samsung Electronics regional rep office, and was the vice-president on global strategy in Global Marketing Operations Dept.

The appointment of Mr. So to the current position is a part of the global restructuring of the Samsung Electronics Company. His big experience and practical skills in sales, marketing and management will be of great value in further company development in the CIS and Baltic markets.
