The Moscow office of the Toshiba Europe GmbH has announced new 2009 models of popular Satellite and Qosmio series laptops, which will enter the Russian market in the 1Q of 2009. The company will present оver 20 new configurations of Satellite series and several updated Qosmio multimedia laptops.
The main changes in Satellite series are aimed at increased their productivity. In 15.4" segment the majority of laptops are supplied with discreet ATI Mobility Radeon 3470 and ATI Mobility Radeon 3650 graphic units, that makes them really universal instruments. The minimal system memory was expanded to 2GB, while the major part of the models have 3 to 4GB memo. Some models, like Satellite A300-213, Satellite A300-216, have got an increased screen resolution of 1440*900, 
which allows for a more comfortable work.
The 1Q2009 will also see the appearance of 16" Satellite A350 и Satellite A350D models, which are more convenient for watching modern films. This is a new form-factor for Toshiba laptops, which inherited low weight (2.7kg) and longer battery life from 15.4" models.
Laptops of Qosmio series have become even more powerful. The gamer flagship Qosmio X300-14X is equipped with the most powerful Intel Core2 Extreme X9100 processor with 3.06GHz, two HDD of total 640GB capacity and two Nvidia GeForce® 9800M GTS graphic units operating in SLI mode. User of Qosmio X300 can choose between 32-bit and 64bit version of Windows Vista Home Premium. 
Qosmio F50 and Qosmio G50 have got up to 820GB of HDD. The screens of these models have become even brighter due to dual LEDs (normaly one LED is used).
