The distribution company MICS paid a 2-days-visit (February 14th – 15th) to Bashkortostan in the context of regional partners support program. The conference for leading computer companies of the region was held in Ufa. The delegates of such companies as BenQ, Lenovo, Intel, Kensington attended the conference, besides there were 40 representatives of local IT-companies.
The conference, which took place on February 14th, was opened by the commercial director of the company MICS, Mr. Andrey Emelyanov. During his presentation he outlined a history of the company, told the audience about the product range, highlighted the competitive advantages of different products. The programs, aimed at regional partners support, financial and logistic opportunities traditionally aroused much interest. Having got a hand, Mr. Emelyanov yielded the floor to the account manager of BenQ.
BenQ presentation was devoted to products as well as to support of different networks, from merchandising to joint advertising campaigns, and similar projects were well exemplified. In general, the practical partner support was the emphasis in the presentation, as the majority of the delegates at the conference were directors and managers of procurement department.
Then the presentation went on with a rhetorical question “What is the ideal laptop?” asked by the delegates of Lenovo and Intel. The answer was quite expectable. The representative of the company Lenovo told about the advantages of using Lenovo process solutions in the corporate segment of the market, features of equipment and accessories, he also mentioned the partners of the second level. The official part of the conference was finished by the speech of sales and marketing manager of the company Kensington, who dwelt upon the products, its features and advantages, paid much attention to the safety of the facility. He also showed some samples of the products, that sparked a lot of interest.
Q&A slipped to an informal part of the evening. The participants played bowling and the best teams and players were given presents by the vendors. Despite the St. Valentine’s Day the participants managed to postpone their personal meetings and happened to spend more time with the company MICS.
During the business visit to Ufa the representatives of the company MICS met with managers of the biggest computer companies of the city. They managed to lay the groundwork of new cooperation and discussed current issues with existing partners.
This is how Mr. Andrey Emelyanov expressed his feelings about the results of the trip: “ We watched the development of the IT-companies of the republic and came to the region with a certain balanced offer. It’s very important for us to get a relevant feedback from our partners. Sometimes during such 2-days-trips you can learn more than after a whole month spent in Moscow office analyzing different bases at the computer. Human factor still remains the most important in the cooperation among companies. We were very glad to spend these days with our partners”.
